Nearly pure combat for over 30 minutes. Very tight fights involving both skillful execution and adherence to strategies. Little room for error. The only run of this map used a cheese for the end.

Most notorious hard map of all time. Coincident came close to taking this down, but gave up. And then returned and beat it in April 2025.

3 minutes in doom's closest approximation of a kitchen blender. Pray for good RNG.

#. Zzul Bases Map31

A difficult platforming map with some hard encounters. One platforming section requires the player to platform on what are essentially disappearing platforms...

This map would unequivcally be first on the list if it weren't for the many cheeses Avey found for this run. It is still very difficult to survive. Lots of concentration and skill required.

The posterchild for challenge maps, perhaps. Pure combat through and through in minimalist yet striking visuals.

Elastic platforming and a death laser.

Brace yourself for pain in the first 2 fights, but thankfully the map ends a bit gentler.

Starts hard and ends hard, jam to the midi as you slaughter hundreds of cybers in a pink combat sim.

Dimensions Map03 but 2x bigger, 2x longer, 2x more yellow, and 2x worse.

Starts trivial, then gets harder and include some tricks to be performed. The hardest fight can be cheesed, but the final fight is a back breaking fight in this lengthy masterpiece.
