If you've read the other descriptions for the other Sunder maps, this will sound like a broken record, but The Furnace is quite a famous/infamous map, and stands iconic in establishing its self-titled theme, which has been reused many times in slaughtermaps, particualrly in the early 2010s. This map may be the flagship map for representing Sunder and macroslaughter. The map starts in a giant furnace, before unfolding into an earthy area above it. It is quite a beautiful theme change.
